'69 Fury III Convertible Build Thread- Project IVY

Thought you gave up...
Since When did you raise a quitter dad?

I like those chrome moldings on the front extensions. Nice touch. My 69 wagon doesn't have them. I might need to locate a pair for him.
Will, I won't need those ones, I bought them because I needed the quarter panel extensions.

Well I think its fair to say that I'm Stan's off spring after all......The longer I own this car the more Anal and daring I get.......I've decided to swap trunk pans for a decent original........that way I can detail the trunk better........

Also I was talking with my Girlfriend about the possibility of working on Angel next weekend, but with Spike (the S10) in there it's too tight (not to mention cold) to work in there right now. She mentioned asking her dad if I could bring Angel to their cottage (30 minutes north of where he is now at my grandpa's), a few minutes later she informed me that upon talking ot her mom, her dad had actually been trying to figure out how to ask me if I wanted to bring the car there. So yet again Angel is moving to a further spoiling accommodation, now to a heated garage with more toys to play with and a licensed Old pro to teach and guide me more. Hard to believe less than a year ago I was working in a tent in a snow bank.

Nick

Very cool Nick. Heated garage, great tools, and an old pros advice...... Priceless!

That's fantastic Nick! Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

Great news. Nothing beats a heated garage. BTW Nick wasn't kidding that it's cold up here in southern Ontario. It hit -27C in Grimsby last night.

I just read you thread from start to date and Wow Nick, what an amazing trip you've been on the last few years! Your car looks, just incredible.

Nick, you may be young and have all the time in the world, but the geezers on here are running out of air! Enough parts, git'er done! :poke:

Nice wheels though (jealous) and great dual snorkels (double jealous).

:edgy:

The rubber alone looks like it was worth it.
The rubber doesn't match, 2 225/70R15, 2 235/70R15's, but the tires are perfet, add my '70-'74 centers and I'm happy.
Now those, those are the correct trim rings.

Good deal.
Yes Dave, Yes they are!

I wish it did, the longer I own it, the more perfect I want it to be.

I got a lot more parts to collect before I attack the car completely.
