Got these from Dr. Diff......

Using them and the rotors, bearings and caps from the '73 I currently have a roller again since the beginning of the summer, it also is the first time EVER that the car has ever moved at all with disc brakes in the front. 232,xxx miles with manual drums at all 4 corners

I'm also very impressed with the truck and trailer, after a 100 mile shakedown for both, I have no issues, the trailer pulled beautifully on the highway, almost effortlessly behind the old 305 powered pick up, infact it still had loads of passing power even on hills. This is the first time I've towed anything since refreshing the trucks heart, it's also the farthest the trailer has ever gone since I have owned it, tomorrow I'll be using my truck to tow my car on my trailer, that's a nice feeling.

Somedays I can't help but be happy.

I'm happy to report a problem free haul, the truck actually stayed level even with the weight on it, the truck also did me proud and hauled the trailer like it wasn't even there, the refresh on it's 305 did wonders, I used 1/4 tank to run 200 miles towing the trailer empty for 57 of those but in very hilly area, and 143 miles with the car on a very windy day. Thats 22.8 MPG average. The truck was very happy hauling, thats among my best mileage, the truck ran at 2,000 RPM at 65 MPH, at 65 MPH on hills and long grades it would kick down to about 2500 RPM, I also had no issues being able to kick down and pass when some smuck was doing 10 under the limit and talking on his cell phone, I kicked the truck down and by the time I looked down at the speedo it was at almost 80 MPH and was still pulling.

I'm damn proud. My truck, my trailer and my car are all safe and came home relatively problem free. I had zero mechanical issues, just had a ramp slip off the trailer while loading the car.

If all goes well and I can afford to, the Convertible will run and drive come spring.

Some days I miss the tent, other days I don't fall and bang my head..........

It has begun.......
Took some time and emptied all the crap from inside the car and then changed out some stuff. Ordered some F8 Ivy Green Poly to replace what ended up froze solid and will practice with some other paint I have this weekend laying some color out.

Do you have any red pieces for the car, it needs some red in the front. Just Kidding keep up the good work, I have driven many a vehicle that did not have any matching panels so at least you are planning on painting.

Eventually it will all be F8 again, just like it was when new, I'm trying to mix and match panels and build the car as rust free as possible for myself, so far I have rust free (ish) doors, rust free trunk lid, rust free hood, one rust free fender, and I'm still looking

Got a few things from my paint places. The Chev Blue is for my dad's truck, it needs some rust repair come spring as well.

Just to oppose Dave, I vote for single stage met. and bias ply tires. ;)

I'm just busting your stones, keep it up. My only 2 cents is good clear coat is worth every penny.
I've been looking at the Nason overall panel clear, it has good rep and is reasonably priced.

Two things any car of mine will never see LOL

Anyway, for the first time ever, the Convertible has power disc brakes.

Just when you thought I gave up.......I actually ran into some issues, the brake pedals are different apparently from power and manual........So it meant doing some hunting........I did okay on my hunt.......

Got the proper power brake pedal, and from a different car I got the disc brake dress-up, the parking brake dress up also came from that '69 Dodge, the '69 Plymouth donated it's accelerator pedal dress-up, I installed all of that stuff tonight. Turns out the holes are half punched for the other pedal, so I just had to finish drilling through. After that it was in like flint.
