Gay- yup, but memorabilia all the same...put it in a time capsule and look at it in 30 years it will be cool. Wife says they were a pain in the *** to make as well- hence the puckering around the embroidery.
Company that made them was licensed Mopar apparel maker bought lots of stuff from them over the years when I still worked for Chrysler dealer in east end of Toronto
this Melton jacket bout 12 years ago- almost have it wore it out and never passed another guy wearing one

Brings back memories. Back about 1970 John Petrie took his Super Car Clinic on a road tour all across the country. When he was in Kingston at Kingston Dodge Chrysler I took the Fury in and got a decal that looked exactly like the one on that shirt. It was stuck under the hood and for years was an interesting discussion point. Unfortunately somewhere along the line it disappeared. It was kinda neat to meet "the man himself".

Bill, I can will get you a replacement for that decal!

You will never sell this car. Trust me.

I had someone ask me about selling it recently, I said "Sure, for just $1,000,000 you can have it as it sits, I'll even throw in the tarp" he didn't like that, so I kindly told him to GTFO of my driveway because the cylinder heads he had come to buy were no longer for sale........

You could say I like this car a bit.

I drove 611 miles round trip to get a used gas tank for it today.

The trunk will look great when your done.

I hope so!

Project Ivy = Ivy green metallic

Nick is an original sort a guy
Thats what the missus tells me........

So I was talking with my friend Paul, he asked about my ragtop, so I texted him a photo, he asked me a very important question "I have a set of headers that didn't fit the Caravelle, do you want to see if they'll fit?"

I swore I'd never run headers as I wanted it to look stock.......however....the 4 barrel...the Eddy, the dual snorkel....while all from Ma Mopar in some way.....not stock...........so I made one decision.............I'd try them for fitment......

The SOB's fit perfect.....

So.......I asked what i owed Paul, I'll be putting a oil pressure switch in his daughters '04 3.8L Impala, so a $22 my cost switch and some of my time basically.....for a set of brandnew Headmen's with new gaskets, new ARP fasteners, new collector gaskets and even the collector pipe/flange sections........
