'69 Fury III Convertible Build Thread- Project IVY

Nick, I would definitely use FelPro exhaust manifold and collector gaskets. Trust me....you'll be changing those gaskets on a regular basis when they starting burning up.

On August 13th 2012 I spent some money and followed my heart......Here we are in 2016 and I'd like to think that I've done okay for myself.....

Best $450 I ever spent....

Nick, you might want to look into having those headers coated. Calico coatings in Denver NC is my recommendation. Fair price and fast turnover.
they will run cooler, quieter and last forever.

I've paid for the convertible to live in a barn with other toys for the winter......before it goes I've decided to push along through some parts that need dealt with. I've got calipers coming in Monday from one of my suppliers, one rear cable is still on its way.....I'm putting the glass back in, the top back on and body panels. Bumpers too...

Next year is the ragtop year.

It's a 71 440 dual snorkel air cleaner. The pie tie I bought from the local dealer. Mopar sells them.

That's a good looking dash pad. Nice to see the progress.
That's my original 47 year old dash pad. It feels good to be working on my ragtop again.

I pulled out the prop and hold off I pulled from the 69 Monaco and cleaned and polished them. Will paint the brackets.

Bottom line. I want this car as close to perfect as I can.

Hey Nick, I think I remember you posted a query regarding the routing of the power disk brake lines as opposed to drum brake ones? I think you will find that the hard lines are the same. I haven't found any difference in them except for the 70 to 71 model years as they went to a different splitter block on the chassis.
