You must be posting with an Ericsson, sounds a bit Swedish. :)

My constraints are set a bit differently, you're right about that Dave.

read and learn

calling someone swedish and even at one time saying someone is using an ericsson was an insult
but how could you know that, but don't call someone swedish if he ain't a swede
Substitute DICK where necessary.
but how could you know that.

I just got tired of offering it to people saying they're looking for a GT and after they see the F8 codes they run and hide because it's not the right color.I guess a paint shop couldn't change the color on the car for someone?I believe it would be much simpler to part it and forget about it.I have other projects going on right now so the GT is in storage awaiting it's fate.I would love to restore the car myself, but I could use the 70 date coded block and Hemi 727 for my six pack Challenger build. There are some very good useful parts on the car, plus another 70 Fury 4 dr I have that will be parted as well.I was only curious what some of the parts sell for because I've already had someone asking about those parts.

And no,I never posted the car for sale before because I always had it in the back of my mind to restore it.Since it would take so long for me to get around to doing anything to it,I only responded to people looking for a GT.I would only want the car to go to someone actually looking for something like this.Seeing as how the people looking for a GT didn't want it because of the colors,I figure it's not worth doing anything with.So my conclusion is to part it because I could use a few bucks from the parts and the drivetrain for other cars. No,I will not take pocket change for it and I don't want it to go to the highest bidder.Only people passionate about their cars and these kind in particular. The parts from it could go to helping restore someone else's ride, which I am more than fine with.I'd rather crush it than see it go to the rust belt and sit in someones yard for the next 5 years or go to someone that will not restore it the way it should be.

you don't want "pocket change" for it but consider parting it but keeping engine trnasmission?
You don't want to sell it to the highest bidder? Why? If he is the highest bidder his plans are probably not to let it sit outside.
You blame people because they search something specific? I have a wanted ad and clearly postet the colours that I want.
I am sorry but your argumentation doesn't make sense to me

Just show us a GeeDee picture of the freakin car, will ya???????????
I don't have a clue about this damn car.

I only want the car to go to someone that knows what they are.Someone that will restore it and enjoy it.Not buy it and just add it to their rusting collection of cars to get to it eventually. If that's the case then I'll keep it.If I can't restore it and if nobody wants it because of something like the color,I want the parts to go to someone's resto project. What's not to understand? It shouldn't matter anyway.I only posted this to ask how much certain parts are selling for,not to argue over somone else's opinion. You guys know C bodies better than I do,so you should know what things are selling for.And yes,the motor and trans would fit nice in a 70 Challenger with a six pack.I pulled a 440 out of a 77 New Yorker, but I would rather have a 70 model block. You can't tell me that somebody wouldn't want the console, buckets, hide away headlight grille and other parts on the car.
