70 Sport Fury

Because of your SFGT being a t-code it isn't an HP Motor with the "HP2" stamping like it should be in u-code or v-code Challenger RT.

Without advertising it how do you plan on finding the right guy.

Last time I tried to ask what a car like that was worth in conditions 1-5,3 of you guys decided to talk as much smack as you could about a subject you obviously know nothing about.FC7 was pretty much the only helpful one I found in that forum.I will no longer offer this car for sale.If I can't get my question answered then I'll just wing it based on prices from other similar parts being sold online.I was just looking for more realistic price ranges.

i didnt talk smack and i'm kinda new here and i'm interested if its a Sport Fury GT, dont worry about the "internet experts"

Fender tag to it is a few pages back. You'll see that it is the real deal. They don't worry me at all.I'm just tired of people turning the car down. It's the same thing over and over. It's the wrong color.I've talked to at least 7 people about it that have put various wanted ads up and it's the same thing. If you want it black then paint it black.Same with any other color. They didn't make any 70 Challengers in Lamborghini Orange.Mine came B5,but I changed it to what I wanted. The worst spot on the GT is a fist sized hole in the driverside floor under the brake pedel.I tried to sell it with a complete running 70 Fury 4 dr to use as parts. That way all the correct nuts and bolts could go on the car and the correct metal could be used.Like I said though, not trying to be a dick,I'm not interested in selling anymore. Not right now.I'm more set on parting because I've had more people interested in just a few parts.

You have no idea about this car because I've only sent pics to people looking for a 70 SFGT.If I wanted the world to know about it I'd put it out there for them.Like I said,I only wanted it going to someone that appreciates these cars and is looking for one to restore.

You really wanted to sell it.
You don't want the world to know about it.
You prefer to part it out at this point.
Got it.

I never said I really wanted to sell it.Only that I replied to wanted ads because it would take me so long to get around to doing anything with it myself.I only offered it to those looking for this exact model.

If I really wanted to sell it then I wouldn't care who got it.Now that I know even the people looking for a SFGT don't want it,why not part it?

I still have no clue about what car this is.
sB: you're good at dredging up old stuff.

Stan, I'll apologize if I am wrong but isnt this the car from Texas? He isnt showing the car because he didnt like our evaluation the last time. He thinks it is a seven thousand dollar car and we thought it is a fifteen hundred dollar car..... he was highly insulted and suggested destroying the car before letting such a rare car go so cheap.

Yep.Same one.I don't believe I even showed the pics of the car last time.I only asked what they sell for in different conditions. The price included extra parts and a running parts car.Not to mention the GT will run with a carb and batt hooked up.The price wasn't $7k either. It was a few thousand cheaper with everything. Now I've decided to part it.I only came here to get advice on what certain parts are worth so I can let the guy know what to give me.

The reproductions arent to much coin and worth every penny. The console, shifter and steering column for a 70 Dodge/Fury could bring four or five hundred dollars depending on condition, maybe more.

A hood for a 70 Fury is nothing special and perhaps fifty bucks for someone who needs one.
Well, I guess that concludes this thread then.

What about grille w/ hideaway headlights and front bumper?Everything does work.

Hey guys,I also need to know how much the road wheels go for. They need to be restored, blasted and painted, but the trim rings look pretty good on them. These are the factory wheels this car came with. What is the correct name for them?

Each chrome hub will cost $150+ alone to replate. That $600.00 just for the hubs.
The caps are held onto the hub by pressure with a retaining clip on the backside. A lot of those clips have been eaten away by rust.

What is the correct name for them?
You nailed it.
Road Wheels.
Not to be confused with what Mopar called Road Wheels on earlier B-bodies.

That's what confused me.I'm more familliar with the B body stuff. Thanks for clarifying.I'll double check the clips, but theyre all in one piece right now.I didn't want to mess with them and strip anything out.I just love the way these wheels look. They would look great on so many different Mopar models. Why were they basically restricted to C bodies?
