Steve, You are correct. We have spoken on the phone a couple times, as well as email and pms on this site. I did have a 70 Monaco 500 but sold it a few years back . I also had a 73 T and C that I sold a before Covid, and now regret that almost daily. What I sold is 3 times more expensive today, for a car in lesser condition/options.
I did not purchase the 1971 Monaco. Like polara71, the amount of work needed to bring the car back to my standards of acceptable driving was far more than I would be willing to do at this point. I forwarded the information on to someone I know, and they purchased the car. So, if anyone knows of a parts car with no rust from the back window rearward, please feel free to reach out.
I am currently out of C bodies. I store a 1968 T and C in my garage. It was bought at the same time as my 70 300 convertible in Y4 Gold. That car (300) has also been sold. It seems like 7 to 9 years is the limit of how long I can keep a car.
Currently flogging on a 71 Road Runner, sassy grass green 383, 4 speed air grabber car. But its getting the better of me. Life has been busy and it seems like free time is no longer free.
