And at some point full of regret...

Hey Wyatt not sure if you're aware, but I'm getting the feeling there's some people here that are questioning your judgement and think you should keep this car :poke:

Hey Gentlemen, he's a nice young whippersnapper with a plan just like we all had years ago... let him execute it so that years from now he can join us in saying "would of, could of , should of" ...after all, we all live with those regrets...right?

Looks to me that he indeed is optimizing under constraints -- like all of us do (or should do), young or old. The fact that he has set his asking price such that he himself would not be surprised if it does not sell, suggests that garage space is not the main issue -- but that refilling the old coffers is what he has in mind. More power to him! Setting the reservation high is the way to go, IMHO -- he's happy if he keeps it, and has (limited) regrets if he sells it.

Just my two cents.

You’re probably right but sell something else for crying and out loud!

M-O-N-A-C-O. It's got to go. Out in the snow.

17 variations, 3 down, oh, two down and 15 to go. Just saying... I'll have to get a Monaco to fit in at the Playground next year!

How about buying a four post lift? Then you can solve some of the storage issue.

Nice car.wheels.but isn,t a 318 a little small for a car so heavy?Unless it can be stroked out for more cubes?B.B

A 318 would give good power and mileage. Check this out a 69 FuryIII with a
Slant 6 with 3 speed manual on the column. I would love to have this car just as it is.

How much were they asking??

ic so it din't look as nice as the pics I saw. Interesting car though. I hope the new owner didnt rip out the /6 etc.

Asking price is $5.4k. Superb additional pictures added to the ad. Should sell given color, disc brakes and working A/C.

PS: what wheels/tires are you including? the dog dishes / raised letters, or the upscale caps and WW? Did these caps originally come with the car?

PPS: the CL ad includes lots of attractive outside pics but might it be worth adding photos of the interior (incl. headliner), the engine bay, and the fender tag?

It has the wheel covers and white walls now. I have the other wheels on the squad car. With my milwaukee impact and 20 minutes of work that could easily be changed if the right deal was made.
I got a new phone early this year and alot of photos didnt make it over to this one. I was planning on getting more pictures tomorrow. It was getting dark when I took the new ones.

Also did I imply the AC works? Its all there and intact but does not work. I didn't bother to recharge it, just added the fresh air vent on the passenger kickpanel from a non AC car and kept her moving when it was hot out. The blower motor works but I think the switch is bad on the heater controls as the blower comes on only 1 speed.

My bad for assuming it did. Thank you for the detailed response. Best of luck with the sales.

No worries. I know a lot of folks take the time to evacuate the systems if needed, change O rings and recharge em. I just never saw it as a priority and spent my time getting it running and driving and reliable.
