If your working on a budget job... so long as they mostly fit and solve the rough sheet metal/ exhaust gas intrusion issues... they will be fine to everyone except the few who know what the should look like. Critter's top line restoration deserves better, but as a college student with limited resources I'm impressed you didn't just smear another 20LBS of Bondo in there. I like your car, and I think you are doing a fine job so far.
Do things in a logical order that allows you to drive the car as much as possible, paint will come, interior will come,safe tires are sexy... as long as you keep improving it a little at a time and get to enjoy it a little in between you are going in the right direction.
