Man, nice car! You know it's nice when the thread grows to 8 pages in 21 hours. I'd love to have an origina sunroof car!

Where's Sebring, south? I'll be in Fort Myers for 2 weeks in December & I'll gladly buy you a beer.
Over two hours away. Google 33872.

FWIW, someone on Moparts made an interesting point. That Imp has Road Wheels meaning it has the 4 1/2" bolt pattern vs. what should have been 5" on Imps.

I don't know if that matters or not........I'm pretty sure during my conversation with this fellow yesterday he said it had anti skid ABS brakes. I was going to ask if it had rear disc brakes since it had them on the front, but he stated I was asking technical questions that he just didn't know. I have some close up pictures of the wheels and quarters that I'll post in a minute. I don't know if a disc brake Imp would be 4 1/2" bolt pattern.

Here's the additional pictures I received.

He done all the rust repair himself in 1980. I can't tell if the bottom of the front fender and door show a reflection or is there something going on there?

He converted it. The wheels are from a New Yorker.

I'm not a fan of the wheels so I'll just swap the ones off my red car. The hubcaps from my red car are in near perfect condition.

Gotta like those wheels an awful lot to go to that expense....
Did he tell you that?

Yeah, they're only 15"..... .:poke:

That's interesting Mopar history. Do you know if that option was available on a NY'er or any other Mopar? I bet it's impossible to find parts other than brake pads for that system.

Yes, sir. He said that he realizes that the yellow center is not for everyone but he did it to his personal taste. How ironic.....

I think sunroof cars are cool but I think I'm going to stay away from them. I'm just concerned about leaks and parts.

I'm just gonna cut it out with a sawzall & fill in the hole with plywood. ;)

I agree though. I wish my Challenger did not have one. I keep it CLOSED.

I also hope that the car doesn't have that cockemamy abs brake deal. Again, one more thing to malfunction or break.

71 - 73 Imperials only.
When it comes time for new brakes, use the standard disks & drums (they both have to be replaced at the same time) and trash the rest of the system.

The road wheels werent offered for the Imperial in a 5" bolt pattern? I thought they were..........

I wonder how much testing went into this before they green lighted production.
