Even if you got lucky and found a complete donor car with all the correct parts, the great unknown is are the cowl panels the same. Even if they are it is a TON of work to change everything over.
I have never done this on a Chrysler product, but have on a G.M. and the words, "NEVER AGAIN" ring out so true.

Actually, I spent some time going thru the tons of lit hoping to understand how the ATC II works. My thinking was on how to operate the ATC box manually.
I thought if it could be broken down into three parts, it was possible.
1. A manual temp. control slide lever to
a) control a vacuum controlled heater valve, and
b) control the hot and cold air blend doors
2. ID'ing all the vacuum lines that open and close the duct doors from both systems and matching the manual ac selector buttons to the ATC servos.
3. Manually selecting the fan speed.

I gave up when this happened...

I'm not smart enough to have given up yet... but I seem to always have too much going on to get myself in trouble so far.

If I could put a manual box and an ATC box side-by-side on a bench, I can figure out how to do it. But that would be the only way I could do it. Sadly (and very depressed about it), I can no longer work under the dash, save for replacing a fuse.
And even that is painful, now.

What REALLY pisses me off is that I have the ATC II diagnostic test box but I can't use it because I can't even access the connector on the box without disassembly of the dash.
