Most everything electrical works including sunroof and all 4(?) windows, 440, original paint (faded/dull), rebuilt carb last year, "minor" rust (yeah, i know), knows ownership history (he is third owner, all three are local folks) and believes mileage to be original, newer tires, believes to have been garaged entire life, he kept in covered storage, aftermarket radio replacement but didnt damage dash (original radio gone). We'll see

I too called the owner on his CL ad soon after I posted here. Much of the same info was provided to me as was to @amazinbule82.
He had the car 4 years and is selling because he doesn't have time for it. Some interior trim needs attention, and told me the vacuum gauge on the dash is for the carb. The one thing he mentioned which seemed strange, was that the car did not have AC. Not that it didn't work, but NO AC.
I'm waiting on engine pics and some of the surface rust mentioned too. I wouldn't be looking at this one if it had a 400. I like this style top better than the St. Regis style top.

I wouldn't dicker the price unless I was waving the cash in front of him... Being black with that nice interior, this one should be popular. The radio can be cured and the original probably didn't work anyhow. She's a coupe, so 4 windows move and she'll look great when they're all down. Without any big problems found on your inspection... this one is priced right for a sale.

Salt and Pepper 2 doors... both top treatments... it would be a perfect collection addition. YOU are the one who wants a hole in the roof, if I were to buy her, that feature wouldn't be one of the things I cared much about.

Truth is, I'd like to someday build the convertible Mr C threatened to a few times. Now isn't the time to even think about such foolishness though.

I see an ATC II control panel, IDK if the "no A/C" claim holds water. IMO, whatever is missing would just be more reason to not feel bad about changing to a sanden and upgrading the condenser.

I don't like the St Regis roof very much, this coupe would be sexy as hell.

awaiting outdoor, exterior pics. seller is very cooperative person so thats in his favor .. the car has to speak for itself tho too.

few things going on ..there IS a compressor. engine looks gray. stain on RH exhaust under valve cover element.

thoughts? notice anything else? tires look good too -- just like seller said.
