nope, i did not change my mind.
It had a 3:55 gear (seller explained the 2:71 gear in trunk was a spare .. that made no sense so he didnt know that was the ORIGINAL gear?), engine was strong and had build documentation, but as UNoriginal as it could be, spray bombed pass quarter, assorted dings all around of the pesky kind, pretty but ruined front bumper, driver side rust low, and curiously NO "fender tags" (gone and seller didnt know why).
i repeat car was NOT a basket case .. but had I bought it sight unseen i woulda been pissed. Seller just didnt represent this car properly, had every chance to, but finally LocuMob had to go see it to help me erase ALL the curiousities/omissions about it.
My offer would have been $2200, to max $2500 - no kidding, I did NOT make any offer at all though given seller wanted $4000.. I give seller benefit of doubt (seemed like a nice guy) he did NOT intend to mislead .. just inexperienced maybe?

Are the missing plates different than the tag near the middle of the core support?
