I bet your Dad really enjoyed the Monaco.

It was a really nice car. He only had 2 problems with it and they were both covered under warranty. Within the first week or so of ownership a rear wheel cylinder went bad and that wheel would lock up upon the slightest brake application - that was fun. Sometime later the driver's seatback - you will recall they went to high-back individual seatbacks that year with a flip-down center armrest - broke and wanted to recline backwards. I remember he wedged a board between the seatback and bottom seat frame from the backside to hold it somewhat upright until the part came in to the dealer.

I know I have some photos of it somewhere that I need to find and scan.
