Hello folks. Just thought I would do the descent thing and introduce myself before having a look around. I have two 1960 Chryslers at the moment, one is a lovely 300F which I purchased out of Oregon in 2011 and the other is a 2 door Windsor which is a project car and purchased locally in New Zealand in 2012.

Hopefully the pictures will turn out ok.

Thanks - Mark.

Welcome to the forum!!! Awesome cars you have there. My favorite 300 of all time! Love to see more pics of both of them sometime. What's the plans for the Windsor? I had a 60 Desoto that looked very similar to yours. Wish I could have kept it.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Nice!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
The 300F is an amazing example and a credit to its three previous owners.
To answer the question from '78Brougham' regarding the plans for the Windsor ... I am a big fan of the way these cars rolled off the production line in 1960, this one had Saratoga trim with a two tone paint scheme ( Alaskan White over Seaspray ) but I am also partial to additional horsepower and torque with a suitable mechanical upgrade to match. So if I can find a balance between these parameters I will be a happy man.
The '60 Desoto is one of my favourites too !

A little late to the party, but welcome from Washington state, sixtyf. Great looking cars you've got.

Thanks again for the welcome guys.
Hello Justin, have you recovered from the Beach Hop yet?

don't know if my wallet has recovered from all the gas used!!, had a great time at beach hop tho, trying to sort accommodation for next year, but its hard to get a good place. had a photo shoot with nzv8 mag the other day in the Plymouth.

Nice, your car will look great in the mag ! I got off easy with the Hop fuel bill but I did donate about three and a half grand to the Sheiks camel racing trust fund during January and February. The accommodation side of things is getting more expensive every year as demand increases - but there's no other gathering like it in little old NZ.
