Alternator putting out over 16 volts

Hmmm now I'm nervous about my 2 1/2 year old electronic VR. I miss my mechanical one. Someday when my brain kicks in I'll order FuryGTs VR.
No current passes through VR.

Wow, four pages. I clicked on the thread because it was electrical and those always interest me since my knowledge in this area is beginner level you could say. I then scroll through looking for where Big John posts, read what he has to say, and then I am done. Pretty straightforward...

Aww gee.... Thanks, but I've just been there, done that, with this stuff. My Dad and my uncle were wizards with this stuff and I picked up a little from hanging around them.
