AM/FM/CB Antenna Problem

I don't think the itunes store has that many. That's a wee bit much, wouldn't you say?

My bad.............I have 10,089 songs after the cleanup. Most were CD downloads.

If you love music you should check out Rhapsody. Unlimited downloads of anything you can name. $15 bucks a month & you own damn near every album ever made.

Looks like the remnants of a power cb antenna. I had a 78 NYB with the am/fm/cb option and power antenna. I think the chances of getting a factory replacement cb antenna power or otherwise is virtually nil.

I think at this point, Bob's going with one of those Star Wars radios with the Studio 54 dance floor theme head units.

I'll probably put an aftermarket radio of some sort in it, with a fixed one piece antenna, speakers front and rear and that'll do for me. The tri-band power antenna is not available period.

My point was that unless you're planning to listen to FM radio then you don't need an antenna. Just get a satellite receiver with an iPod plug.

I hear you. All I need is something to run the ipod through and something to fill the antenna hole on the fender. I have a friend that has a fixed one piece standard antenna.

LOL!!! Disco STILL SUCKS!!!!
Sorry, but that's all I can see when I look at modern aftermarket radios.
Strobes, flashing backgrounds, changing neon colors. swoopy graphics...

I see zero need for one of those new stereos...especially on Formals, where it's just too easy to put a 90's Mopar radio into the car with good speakers...sounds better that they did new without the subwoofer buffoonery.

AND it looks like it grew there...no mangling of the dash required, easy to understand stereo functions and controls buttons that are actually big enough to use.

No brainer...

And there are guys out there that can add the ipod/MP3 input for you.

That's how its done, Commando!

Plus the radios can be had on the cheap...I paid $25.00 for my last one...for some reason all my interior shots managed to cover up the radio LOL.

Yea, 90's technology is awesome. Maybe Bob can install a telegraph too.

:laughing4: Thats too efin funny:laughing4:

Stan and Mr C are out of control. Nothing wrong with an upgraded anything if its done tastefully. A new head unit doesnt have to have all the lights and bling.

Agree 100%.. Those factory radios are junk anyway.
