AM/FM/CB Antenna Problem

You guys crack me up. You'll nit pick to death and rip some guy a new azzole over wheels, tires, exhaust tips, etc, but you can't see how a modern radio would be the same thing.
You guys don't look in the mirror a lot. An awful lot.

I'm thinking something like this.....

Simple and functional.......

Can't you find one with an analog display. That new-fangled digital stuff....

Plus I can download my music to an SD card and load the SD card behind the face plate.........then I don't even need the ipod in the car.

My Ram has a 30G hard drive but I don't use it cuz it's so easy to just plug the iphone in.

Sigh, next thing you know someone will try and make a lowrider out of a perfectly good 72/ 73 Imperial...

How do you even turn that on? And where are the presets for the stations? No thanks, that has no place in one of these cars.

Push the big silver button or use the remote.........

I dont see the difference between your radio and one Bob would put in. Both are incorrect for the car, and all this coming from a guy who installed a four speed into a car that never came with one, wheres the difference? Splitting hairs arent you Stan?

The radio will match the 1 of 1 blue leather wrapped steering wheel.

Now the radio makes sense. LOL

And as for you..

NO! My argument isn't about 100% authenticity.
Everything I do is "period correct". Huge difference. The modern whoopty-doo radio looks wrong to me.
Not that I'm the epitome of good taste, of course....

See the trouble you caused, Bob???:sideways tongue:

You guys are out of your mind telling Bob what doesn't belong in his car.

The ones you post are full of bling. The one in my brown 71 had no dancing lights. It did have a digital readout and I could choose between orange or green display, oddly enough I chose green because it more closely matched the dash lights.

I can't stand a big strobie display. I prefer the largest GPS screen that can be fit.
