I just don't see all the deep rust you guys are seeing. No AC is a non starter for me, and if it's going to live in North Carolina, that might be a concern. As for value, any C in this condition is worth 10k all day every day, hidden details and all, anything over that the question is how bad do you want it?
thanks, but he wants 14 K US, and it kind of seems the thing hasn't ran for a while, also, ovbious power window issues, buttons missing. Obviously, I want a TNT and the red is icing on the cake, but i guess something tells me to hold of a "maybe" somewhere down the road something better may come (I do prefer the 69's over the 70's too, but with my narrow criteria i know it's hard to be picky. too bad that other guy in CA with the 69 red one had to be such a jerk, oh well, thanks for your comments....Dale

Wants 14k ands gets are two very different things.

If he's the executor there will come a time where he will have to take the best offer if he has been instructed to liquidate the assets of the estate.

If he decides to relocate the car to London I would be happy to look at it for you. Carleton Place is approx 7-8 hours from London.

much obliged. i basically told him i "may" be interested if he can drop it to around 10K US, but doubt that will happen.

I googled where Carleton Place is... Now I understand. Probably would be best to have asked for someone near Ottawa. The car is 3 hours straight north from me.

thanks, to clariy, I got an appriser and got those photos included, which i was surprised that there weren't more. but, if the seller ends up dropping the price, I may need someone to do a better look at it. I probably shouldn't even pay the guy, but to be fair, the people didn't prepare it well for a look either. thanks.

A small update on the TNT. Anyone know if it sold yet?

I got this message few days ago from the seller.

“Understand that piece for sure, the power windows work the switches just need to be secured in the panels.”

“It runs great as I had it out last sept before I closed the house down, it rides very smoothly ‎ and shifts great it does not need any mechanical work aside from possibly a carb tune up, odd that the battery was dead but it has been sitting for a bit now.”

Then I asked the appraiser if it could be driven onto a carrier and this was his answer. Doesn’t sound too good….

“It isn't running so she will need to be winched on tow truck”

One other exchange below between the seller and I

hi again, just thought of one thing, if there may be photos (before and after, etc.) taken during the restoration in 06 that would great. just a thought. I figure the appraiser may ask.

“Sorry I haven't found any what's so ever, I can tell you it has only had one repaint as my father bought it with original paint, I can remember this and there was no rust that needed steel replaced.”

“That's all I can tell you sorry”

Ask the wanker if he or the owner could be troubled to give it a jump or install a new battery ... damn this guy doesn't want to do anything does he.
yeah, pretty much, though I will say he's been nice and at least at the beginning he was several miles away from the car at another location, but yeah, he could have hired someone to do that if it runs so great, etc....
