Old Man with a Hat
Any documentation of the car's police duty?According to my dad, yes. On the net I've found 69', 70', 72', and 73' NJSP cars. Haven't seen a 71' yet.
Were the years that you found Furys?

Thanks Alan. I have a nearby contact that has a 73' NJSP Fury. He is going to snap a photo of his fender tags and send it to me. Should be a pretty good indication to me.On my CHP car that was painted Black and white from the Factory they would paint the roof white first then paint the body black. On the doors then painted the door skin only white then painted the rest of the door black. Some people have said they have seen doors that were painted black before the white.
Normally a car like this would typically have a 2nd tag that would indicate "Special Mask", on my CHP car the paint codes are 99 99 even though the black was standard 69 Dodge Black, the white was a spec color.
On your car I would assume the doors were fully painted white from the factory.
Alan

It looks like a 999 paint code to me but then I was thinking my eyes are old
M1xa tx9I see a 9 for the paint code also but I can't tell if it's TX9 or 999
M1xa tx9
No, that is the interior code (type and color)
Oh! I thought m1xa was the interior and tx9 was the exterior paint
