Yea you could probly , Fit that little Austin into the trunk of a "c" body lol I used to watch the touring cars back in the 60s mk1 Lotus and Mini Coopers against the American fordsThe size difference between American and European cars is amazing. I know it's due to the fact that most of the large metropolitan cities over there predate cars by 500 yrs or more. The Europeans basically had to build cars that would fit on streets made for horse and buggy. The same holds true with the difference in motor cycle size. Light and nimble vs large and powerful. I love watching the road races of the 60s and 70s. You could really see the strengths and weakness of the two types of cars.
I don't think she will like it Stan, Ain't got a vanity mirror for ladies ,Come to think of it it's not got much pretty basic ,As you would expect from a 60 year old car jeez I need to look at the brakes ASP !Oh, great. Now my wife wants one...
That sounds interesting ,Will look it up , thanks for the tip. Yes the trafficators are working fine,They changed to bulbs at the front ,When the A35 came out you will notice there is not any bulbs on mine .:yaayy:Great car!
Try swissvax for your leather. Apply coat cover with black plastic garbage bags and let sit in the sun as much as possible. May have to reapply the swissvax multiple times but it will make a huge difference. The plastic bags hold moisture and heat and helps to speed the process.
Turn signals are too cool.
There worth a lot of money now , Especially the Westfallia .If it's "cute", she wants it. She's 5'0"
And her first vehicle was a 1st Gen VW bus. Talk about crude?
Just noticed the shadow of ,That damm telegraph poleOh, great. Now my wife wants one...
Yes it's a A40 Somerset nice pictureFound a picture. It looks like I was mistaken. It was not an A30, probably an A40.

It's just got the 949 motor in it 0-60 in 40secs quarter mile in 3 days then another 3 days to get back to the start line LOLNice Blubbs! bet that's good on fuel too! you could always stick in in the trunk of a fusey when you get one!
I had a 54 Minx when I was at college, had those same trafficators and a really cool steel visor!
My mate Tom has this Austin Devon ....not exactly stock with its 383 big block!! he still did the quarter in less than 11 secs on this run!!

I think that's a great idea ,If you can find one in the states "LOL"I love it. I love the turn signals how they pop out. I would have so much fun in that car. What would be cool import a c body wagon and cut the back off of it and put ramps on the back and drive The Austin on it. Sorry wagon guys just thought it would be funny.
