Batavia Downs ‘73 Newport

I keep looking at this picture and my mind boggles with the possibilities.
I can't take my eyes off of the profile of your car.
Truly one of SEXIEST!
I envy your enthusiasm.

I would love to have it in black!! But I don’t believe this one will be nice enough to pull it off lol. This one is stunning though!

I still have one, if you're interested? I could also send you any measurements you may need if you want to try fabricating your own. Also, feel free to ask any reinstallation questions. I've gotten quite familiar with them.

@saforwardlook has a number of C-body Chryslers with sunroofs. He would be a great person to talk to if you have specific questions, but I don't know if he has seen this thread.

He is an excellent source of knowledge. Between the two junkyard sunroof car's I've found, and my own sunroof car, I've learned from hand's on experience, without breaking anything! They're actually very simple once you understand their operation.

Take those tits off and step back and see how those bumpers are really supposed to look. You'll never put them back on. Put em on the shelf and store them.

Watt till you come around the corner carrying a cooler of beer and bang your knee into one! You won't be able to hobble over to the tool box fast enough!

The only redeemable value they have is to rest a beer on.

Thank you!! I do still need to get those measurements don’t I? I would gladly take any help I could get! I had a bunch of blown up service pictures years ago on my old computer, but they are forever lost.

I had em off for a while around when I sold the car. I took em off because they were getting pretty pitted. They were in the trunk when I sold it. They ended up back on when I got the car back. Glad they are too!!

I figured out why I dislike the '73s...the bumper tits! The rubber baby buggy bumpers! The car looks great minus them.
