With this crowd, you may be better off comparing English and American Bond girls. ;)

Diana Rigg Vs Jill St. John?
Honor Blackman Vs Lana Wood?
Jane Seymour vs Barbra Bach?
Tina Hudson vs Tanya Roberts?

Both handled like shopping carts. Interestingly & possibly that exact Db5 (1 of 2) was stolen out of an airport and dragged onto a plane & it disappeared. I think it was Hagerty that had it insured & he believed it was dropped somewhere into the ocean.

Yea the Aston was a real heavy car and didn't corner to well but in a straight line it was pretty fast :yaayy:

This is easy for me - out here in the colonies.

An oversized/underpowered sandshoe OR a real car from Detroit :sFl_america2:

As pretty as the DB5 is....... I don't think it would hold a candle to a 64 Max Wedge. either handled very well.

I can't say that I have ever driven a Db5. I have looked closely at a white on red one that was on a transporter several years ago. Super nice. I have driven a few E types however, and owned a TR4 &TR3, MGB, and currently have a 70 Mini. Surprisingly to me, the XKE was not nearly the performer that you would expect. V12 or 6. Super cool to look at, handled period decent, sounded great, but power wise a let down. Most elegant design however.

What engine? All original with the 10" wheels? ....Pics?

Yes 10" x 6". Not original, but in keeping with the earlier style cars. 1370cc, stage 2 head, 5 speed, front disc, rear minifins, adjustable suspension & shocks. I also added a Webasto electric sunroof, and all of the glass is new. All fresh, maybe 2 miles. Early style tail lights & grille. I changed the colors as well from Island blue/blue to Lamborghini grey metallic/red interior. I still need to do the headliner install & finalize the alignment. Other than the machine work, I did 100% of it. A street legal gokart.

I'm envious Joey i always wanted one of those and one of these ... should have bought one or the other when I was over there

My Dad had a Capri like that. Yellow w/a black interior. 4 cylinder Pinto engine (2000cc?). The v6 one was hot rod though. I originally bought this Mini after it was shipped to US in 2000. I sold it in 2004, and bought it back several years later. A fun car.
