So the guy's like there woman better than there car's I think this post is gonna heat up shortly :yaayy:

Geeze..I thought I knew this crowd. When they pick Mini cars over Mini skirts, apparently they do like their cars better than women. :(

You can tell that's not a real one, the lights work...

Yes 10" x 6". Not original, but in keeping with the earlier style cars. 1370cc, stage 2 head, 5 speed, front disc, rear minifins, adjustable suspension & shocks. I also added a Webasto electric sunroof, and all of the glass is new. All fresh, maybe 2 miles. Early style tail lights & grille. I changed the colors as well from Island blue/blue to Lamborghini grey metallic/red interior. I still need to do the headliner install & finalize the alignment. Other than the machine work, I did 100% of it. A street legal gokart.

That is beautiful. I kinda know em in&out, had mine apart and did all the work myselfe too. I had a 91 with the small 1000ccm, but man that thing revved 7000 up the hills. Now that I have the Fury, i have to remind myselfe that i have to apply breaks before turns :(

Had camber -1 up front and 0 in the back, caster 3.5° and 0 toe in the front. Replaced all the rubber on the frame with the steel/ aluminium mounts and used poly for the rear subframe. Thing layed on the street like it was glued onto it. Had the old tuning head on the engine with 1.3 forged cooper rockers, a freeflow manifold, rc40 exhaust, kent 266 cam, k&n and upgraded hif carb and had to add an oilcooler. I miss that car a lot.... thanks for showing yours!

My Dad had a Capri like that. Yellow w/a black interior. 4 cylinder Pinto engine (2000cc?). The v6 one was hot rod though. I originally bought this Mini after it was shipped to US in 2000. I sold it in 2004, and bought it back several years later. A fun car.

Yeah the V6 was what I wantd

Pretty cool. IIRC the cam number on mine is the 276, header & RC40 exhaust. Electronic ign, lightened flywheel etc. The car was originally raced in the Snowdonia Mtns. Yes it screams. I have 2 Ducati 916 mufflers that I'm going to use for a custom exhaust. :)

In the mid-'80s, I had a roommate that got a '72 V6 Capri. Then two. Then a third for parts arrived, so two went in the barn behind the house we were renting. Good thing he had that parts car, because even then, parts in the US for these were getting pretty scarce. Fun little cars, especially that V6 with the manual trans!

I've always wanted a REAL Mini (not the BMW cars!), but when one pops up that I want, I don't have the funds. When I do, I can't find one remotely local!

I had a 1973 Capri rs 3100 if I can find a photo I will post it v6 with twin 40dellortos carbs with burton racing cams twin exhausts I only had couple months and I wrote it off was only 19 so not much experience with a car of that performance you learn the hard way don't you :icon_silent:

I can't say that I have ever driven a Db5. I have looked closely at a white on red one that was on a transporter several years ago. Super nice. I have driven a few E types however, and owned a TR4 &TR3, MGB, and currently have a 70 Mini. Surprisingly to me, the XKE was not nearly the performer that you would expect. V12 or 6. Super cool to look at, handled period decent, sounded great, but power wise a let down. Most elegant design however.
The 1962 series 1 Etype was good for 150 so it wasn't no slouch But I agree the later straight 6s were lame compared to the early xks :eek:s_dancing2:

is this FECO now (For european compatcs only)?

I rather drive any 4dr C-Body with a 318 than a european car

Awesome! Gotta love those Minis!

Lovely car I don't think jaguar will ever make a car like that again as much as I love my xk8 it's not an Etype :yaayy:

I had a 93 xjs and a 97 xk8... I loved them both and would put them up against any mopar, any day! That said I love my mopars just as much..check my list of cars I've got... I'm very proud of them all. They all have their good points and bad.
I just enjoy collecting them, working on them and most of all driving them. They all have a purpose and a unique ride to them
