Old Man with a Hat
Im two hours from Carlisle and its never taken me longer than five hours to get through PA from 10 miles deep into Jersey..... Im a little Geographically confused right now
Stop it. That's 4 - 4½ hrs. Let the man stop and pee for Petesakes. He has about a 220-230 mile drive. Yeah 3 hours unless your *** that has 3.55 or lower gears that can only cruise at 60 mph.
Driving there in Mary from Canoga Park?
Stayed at the Courtyard in Mechanicsburg last year, that's what I booked for this year also. It is nice, as you said, because you're far enough away to get out of the rat race but it's still a short ride to the fairgrounds. I didn't get much chance to socialize though as I spent all my spare time looking up part numbers in my hotel room. Last year's trip was dedicated to finding parts.
What can I say, I'm a coward...:busted: It probably would but I'm far from being done with everything that needs done.
I wish I had time otherwise I would consider making the trip.
Would need about $1500 just for gas!
Priceline... $500 round trip, San Fran to Harrisburg.
Just saying.....
John has a good point, no reason that should stop you.
Gas may never be this cheap again
The original plan was to drive the Blue Moose all the way, but I assume we will trailer Mary up. (My dad bought a trailer parking spot). Maybe I will drive it part way for fun, and then trailer it when I am tired.

Keep that damn door shut you will be there before you know it.
I used to be like you...Keep that damn door shut you will be there before you know it.
