If anyone is even thinking of going to Carlisle I would book a room now. Most places are only down to a few rooms now. The plus they all seem to have free cancellation, up to just before the show. They require a card to reserve but won't charge your card until your stay.

Book now nothing out of your pocket until July. I am staying at the Hampton Inn In Carlisle only 2 rooms left.

You can find something in Harrisburg if you need to. Just about a half hour away from Carlisle.

If I get to go, I wont be able to much advanced planning. I will post here and take my chances on the outskirts maybe a few late comers will gather someplace or maybe I will get in on a cancellation... hope to get a Formal before then and really want to go either way.

You can come and go every 5 minutes if you want. Gate 3 is open 24 hours. All you need is your sticker on the left side windshield. Drive right on to the showfield and park. You can put up a pop up tent deal to unofficially reserve your spot.

I think I'm going this year. I'll be celebrating my birthday with my twin sister in Maryland 2 days before the show starts. I know, I could fly out to Maryland, and force Bob to go! No excuses this year. I'll bring an extra power steering hose!

I'm there every year......had a major force protection test for Afghanistan that had to get done last year at the Proving Ground.
