I have been asked about the relative dearth of Formals with NON-OEM wheels/tires. I dunno why that is, or if its really true.

All I do is troll the site/digital universe to find examples of what people have done to any of their C's. Some I dig, some I wouldn't do .. my opinion is irrelevant as I just post any usable pics that I see.

I don't find many formals with NON-OEM wheels/tires.

Recall none of them (except BW fleet cars maybe?) came with RWL or blackwalls from the factory of which I am aware. WW's predominated and seem to be what most stick with 40+ years after EOP.

Anyway, a few more popped up below. A couple of these '78 NY'ers are already here/member's cars somewhere.

Oh, how did this '76 slip in ... never seen it before. Then it "changed clothes" and snuck in again:poke:

1972 Fury iii that was owned by @IMFURYS and is now his daughter's (@IMFURYS2). I am usually a "keep them stock" guy, but these aftermarket wheels and tires look really great on this car (right amount of curves on the wheel spokes, color matches the car's paint and top, wow).

Thank you!! I did have to replace the tires, but I replaced them with the exact same ones. I am considering replacing the vinyl top and moving to a black painted hard top. From what I understand, those vinyl roofs have a bunch of leak/rust issues and I'm pretty sure that was the cause of the rust I currently have.
