1965 Mercury Park Lane/Colony Park (wagons) lineup. (Aside -kinda examples of illustration embellishment .. these cars were longer that prececessors, but NOT as long/low as illustrated).

The "breezeway" roof .. I didn't know it by that name till today.. In the early 1960's we and a '57 Mercury "Turnpike Cruiser". It had this rear glass treatment.

As kids. we'd be on our knees, elbows on the package tray, NO seat belts, on the the Interstate - sometimes I wonder how we survived childhood in the 1960's
