Paul hell...we had this baby together and he never calls now lmao...am sure hes sick of dealin with pics...am due to hear from him...sent him a mine a cpl weeks back,,,
rotisserie...heck...Graham lent me his garage style floor jack and couple extra jacks so that puppys gona be in the air and lm gona be on my back on a creeper sleepin my way through the xmas rush.....

wasn't shinney enough.....hada pull and strip fresh paint offa it....besides,,it wasn't quite as scarey as the carb....

this ones a driver...scratchs are already there...just doin basic maintenance to enshure she stays on the road...anyway another day down in the pits....

Painted the heat shield today...whole thing came out clean...was impressed..pic tomorrow..forgot to take one...

Decided since lm still waitin for engine bay paint to get started on the grill...made some basic brackets outa some old braceing from a old wheelbarrow...whatever l can find...

got grill in and secured easy enough...may need a different center support for the headlight motor so if someones got one kickin around.....also trying to sort out headlight motor...works but theres issues...need someone with tad more experience than me to sort it out..will hit it fresh tomorrow

went to leave for the day but couldn't....touched up the letters on hood....

Paul tried to get this one going but used another motor instead...took it apart..all looks good...put power to contact and motor worked..may be short in main leads and needs to be set up right....

.also looking for the two spring locks that go on the bar for the headlight doors and locks bar in place on side of headlight door.....

There's a set on ebay right now. Saw them last night while searching for something else

k..so far so good...Ralph..RWC has my center sppt l need and is kind enough to shoot my way...bunch of pics today for ya'll...guess l'll start with caps...primed them and their ready to go to water chrome or l may just go grab a can of duplicolor chrome being l wana do this on the cheap...put down 2 good coats and was wonderin about sanding them then just decided to use my hands for sandpaper and they worked great lol

headlights....hada clean them puppys up....this one bucket had red paint and wouldn't seat the light properly..dont think its original to car...anyway hada mod it so light would sit better...bloody shoemakers...

basic tools so far..brushs sem to be my fav...

now l don't feel bad about putting these puppys in...trouble is they wont fit with hidden headlight grill lol...ah well...looks like a visit to Bills in order...HINT HINT lol

light bucket l hada mod...

one of the light retainers was broken at join...little bit of JB weld and done

the 1k high build primer l used...

think l may need to change these along with light buckets...

on this pic above it shows the part that accepts the rod that opens the doors...noticed on one it has a C clip on that part....on the other lm missing that clip...anyone happen tto have one??
actually a generic C clip should work lm thinkin....not like its a internal engine part....
