Decent Pass Tonight

Yep Hemirace.com for details. Atco, NJ.

And thank you, I'm real happy so far as well. I have tenths just sitting on the table....

I might be able to make it. Dave and Gary are real close too.

I'll have to see........it may conflict with this race that I go to every year.

Thanks, Alley.

What track do you race at again? I'm gonna meet my cousin in Brainerd, MN in September where he'll run his 73 Challenger down the track for the first time.

Rock Falls Raceway, just outside of Eau Claire, Wi.

Brainard is a great track, spent many weekends there growing up throughout my Dads drag racing days. Good luck to your cousin!

Nice run man! Do you have any pictures of your car you can post here? What are the specs on the drive train? What kind of car is it?

Thanks.

09 Challenger, 6.1 based 426, NAG1 tranny, 4.10 gear, little shot of nitrous.

No pictures at my fingertips.

Thanks, brotha. I'm still in the test & tune phase but I'll get her in the low tens soon enough. I've already spent the money, it's just tuning now....

Aren't you concerned with running a 200 shot of NOS? I was always afraid of the stuff. I had to many of my buds blow motors. Scary! I also heard its safe as long as its setup correctly. My buddy has a 06 Maskrat and hit the button at the track and the computer that runs the NOS system failed and it blew the entire intake off the motor, hood and other stuff. He was not happy that day. What type system you running? Gotta post some pics of your car when you get around to it. Any video at the track?

Nope, not scared..... My motor was built specifically for nitrous & I'm easing in. A 200 shot is nothing. I know a guy who sprays a 600 shot in his modern Charger.

Nitrous backfires are scary but almost always caused by forgetting to purge.

I'm running a Nitrous Outlet plate with a dedicated fuel cell in the trunk. So, it's a wet shot & I'm spraying VP NO2 with the juice plus running VP NO2 in the main tank. Fuel pressure safety switches on both fuel systems so if I ever lose fuel pressure the nitrous shuts off.

I think I'm gonna put on my street tires today so I'll get some pictures.

Somewhere north of $200k+..........

The motor is around $95k by itself, 869 ci Fulton Racing. Jerry Haas chassis, Liberty txsm, 3 disc clutch, 5 stage nitrous system, on and on...

He's making close to 3,000 hp.

He runs low 5.90's consistently at about 237-241 mph. He has ran 5.89 twice.

As bad *** as that thing is, I'm still a street car guy. I wish NHRA would run some steel body cars.

Sounds like you have it under control and looking forward to seeing some pics! It must feel incredible to run in the 10s!!!

I like ProMod, Outlaw 10.5, Top Sportsman and other similar classes of drag racing more than Top Fuel Dragster and Funny Car racing.

I might be going to Maple Grove, Pa tomorrow to see this race.
$20 Adults, $13-15 teens, Free 12 yr old and younger.
