Congrats! 10.8 is movin'. The 60 ft looks pretty good! Is there anything left on the table on the high end? Trap speed seems low for that ET, no? I admit I know jack about drag racing, but have been watching the new Shelby ET's and traps on the forum. Seems guys with ETs similar to yours are trapping about 10 MPH higher. Again, I just don't quite understand all of this yet. I do know however that 10.8 is moving in a street car! Good job!
Room left in my 60' & on the big end. And room for a bigger shot to get me to 10.0.... I think I'm running out of spray on the big end for some reason.

Yup! My GM loving, knuckle dragging neighbor and I flip each other a lot of **** on a daily basis. He owns two Chevelles, both drag cars. One runs high 9's. it's on the verge of "streetable" in my opinion. I always have to hear how much faster it is than my ford. But I always tell him I have A/C, NAV, heated seats....oh and I can drive it anywhere any time. Friendly banter of course. So last year he flies to Florda....from Montana to pick a used enclosed trailer and diesel pickup racing combo. And drives it back. I need to get a photo, both Chevelles fit in this big *** enclosed trailer that's black with........MOPAR billboards on it. LOL. And they have been on the trailer so long, it's pretty much impossible to remove them.
Well, just made it home from MN.
Ran a 10.65 at 130 with a 1.68 60'. It was a test & tune weekend so track prep was basically zero & it took me a few passes to get hooking at all but I'll take a 10.65....
My cousin's freshly built 73 Cuda ran high 14's.......

Thanks but unfortunately the mustang in the other lane ran a 10.14. I treed him though & he caught me right at the finish line.
I'm not even close to satisfied. Wait till I get a tuner on the case..
In fairness, she only goes tens on spray & I would never spray on the street.

I remember an street F body in one of the Mopar mags probably twenty years ago running mid 9's. That was something else, especially for the time
Anybody running nines in street cars is a special case.

Yea, I've seen that Jeep a bunch. He's broken a bunch of stuff too. He's spraying it......
