Dennis. That's his name.

dennis looks pretty solid. replacing your truck as a summer cruiser?

Dennis seems like a nice fellow. Bigger than most, but with a strong sure-grip! Good looking too. :)

Yeah, I prefer female names for cars I refer to as "she". Although my 61 Fury is named "Virgil", after the designer, and my 69 Fury wagon does not have one feminine trait, hense the "Admiral"

I've always refered to them as her, or she as well. Except for my old Newport. That car was a dude if there ever was such a thing. So I can see where your coming from Nick.

Dennis is named after Sergeant Dennis Becker, eventually my Dennis will be dressed in uniform.

Jim, Dennis is pretty decent, he has some holes, but nothing really bad, or really big, lots of bubbling though, which I need to get after before it gets bad. But yes my truck Rocky is begging for some TLC and I'm dying for some Mopar seat time.

Nick

I'll leave these here, he seems to love 91 Octane.

You have a front marker light out and the license plate light is out, your welcome;)
Bad ground. I've been tinkering.

So, removed the rear window trim to see what was hiding, found lots of dirt and silicone, and one hole, the rest is just bubbly on the surface but rock solid. Found a mouse nest. and then I ended up with 3 stitches.

had my share of stitches too :) looks like it's warmer there than here

Things are always "she"...boats, aircraft, ships, cars. You can name ships with male names (USS Ronald Reagan, USS Henry M. Jackson, USS John Warner, et al), and aircraft (and cars, apparently). BUT, a vehicle of any type is generally referred to as a "she", regardless of the given or christened name.

Nothing wrong with a car named "Dennis".

Nice to see another one being saved. But I agree with the above sentiments. Get the ragtop done. Cars are its. With names just split the difference. Nessie and Big Bee are my car names. I know just to be difficult somebody will object on this basis...

Androgyny is the combination of masculine and feminine characteristics. Sexual ambiguity may be found in fashion, gender identity, sexual identity, or sexual lifestyle. It can also refer to biological intersex physicality, especially with regard to plant and human sexuality
