Does your MOPAR have a name, and if so, what and why?

Hi Bluefury,
What you see on the side of the B.O.A.T. is a decal stripe from O'Reileys Auto Parts.....She was repainted about 16 years ago and the old owner stuck it on.....

My '68 Newport's name is Estelle, although I get to address her as Stella. Why? Dunno. That's just the name that came to me as I drove her home the day I bought her. I guess you could say she introduced herself to me on that drive. Call me crazy but that's how it went. I bought an old Newport.....2 miles down the road I got 10 gallons of Premium for Estelle......after she overheated (the first time), I sat next to Stella and waited for her to cool down. Poor old girl almost got neglected to death. 10506693_10203657250324149_9070826650505995795_o.jpg

The fury's name is Lucille. I call it that because a lady I worked with some time again was big, miserable and had blue/gray hair, the fury is big, miserable and blue too! I call my ram Vivian because it the show "I love Lucy", her best friend Ethel was played by Vivian Vance.

My '66 is named Imperial, and my '78 is named New Yorker.

I have never felt the urge to "name" a car. Ever.

In the '70s, my Dad had a '54 CJ-3B Willys. Neat old beater Jeep that I began driving when I was 13, and drove regularly until he sold it before I turned 18. He called it the "kidney killer" because it rode like a, well, a Jeep! So he had me paint that it that space under the windshield, like troops did during WWII and Korea. I'm thinking that was the only vehicle he ever named. And he owned a lot of vehicles over his life.
