Electronic ignition for 67 Newport

FBO Ignition - Home of the HRR688

Been using this ignition and a custom curved distributlr from these follks in the Newport. Love it.

Nice they are 12 volt and don't need a ballast. Like GM HEI conversions.

Thinking about putting an electronic ignition conversion in my 67 Newport 383. I’m looking at the Per-tronics kit from Summit Racing. Thoughts?
They suggested a new coil also.

i would leave the point & condenser had one of them i removed it & went back to points . Y r u changing the points out? how is the top bushing in yur distributor?
