Engine bays of the classics

Second picture is the P/U you've had so much enjoyment with? Any success?

Yes, I have had success. Used a K&W Nanotechnology block sealer and it has seemed to work. The truck has been out on the road once but since then rain has been in the way for more drives. I check oil level every week and nothing is in the oil pan except oil at the precise level I put it at. Running only water till after a long drive before putting in anti-freeze. Just want to be sure as water is less damaging in small amounts.

Still tends to run a tad hot but not as bad as I thought. I found that the aftermarket temperature gauge actually reads high by 15-20 degrees. A 100-400 degree thermometer in the radiator shows idling temp around 195-205 degrees. At times, on the road, maybe 205-215 degrees. However, the rebuilt engine only has 40 miles on it. Will say the higher compression 390 has way more spirit than the low compression 360.
