But maybe it's a wise idea after all to use a cherry picker to pick the intake up since it's that heavy !
 
Do you have a picture of how the engine is bolted to the stand?

Not as perfect as I would like. I wanted to use the two lower bellhousing bolt locations but could use only one. Seems the lower ears were a 3/16" too short and so I couldn't reach both at the same time. You would think they would give you the max range needed because you can always bring the ears in but can't extend beyond the set limits.

That exactly is my problem too, but the other way around... I would like to use the bolts you used because to me it looks saver not to hang the engine on the lowest boltholes available but these "connecting bars" on my stand are also about 3/16" too short to reach the upper bellhousingboltholes. Just a half bolt width... ;)
