No, im not doing that. Posting an ad here and there because there is something noteworthy about it is fine, (especially ebay because the ads dont die quickly and they refer to similar things for sale) But if I wanted all the c body ads re-posted here I could create a plugin to do it automatically.
This is a reasonable guideline... thank you.
Wow congratulations you can view Craigslist **** ya i defiantly wont be renew my membership

This is sour grapes... because many of us don't want to buy overpriced stuff from the middle of nowhere... AND the desire to be "top billing important" :drama:

Now don't take this as an attack, but many of us Formal lovers will never buy from you after the "cutting the roof off" threads... I lost track of how many there were. I wouldn't pay shipping on free parts at this point, as I will have nothing to do with supporting it. I still don't try to step on your enjoyment and commercial use of this forum.

:welcome:, stick around, enjoy yourself, cut up everything you own if you want... I will happily sponsor another $40 gold membership to offset your non-renewal... and still welcome you to continue enjoying the site, not that I have any say.
i'm actually on your side. i've always liked all the ads. they also serve a purpose as a lasting historical reference. i personally disagree with C1 on the premise of this thread, but on paper he's correct. problem is the administrator. either he should change the rules or enforce them.
This I don't get... you like it, but blame the admin for flexibility which allows others to enjoy what they like? I'm sure something has escaped me... but I usually just skip past the stuff I don't find amusing.

Overposting is like pornography...

Wow. I had no idea that re-posting of Craigslist ads for C Bodies was not welcome in the "C Bodies For Sale" section. There's no sticky, no notice mentioning this in that section. It doesn't say, "Members Cars for Sale." But, now I know. End of such posts.

No one will say boo if you are just posting the odd car you find interesting. If you read this thread you will know that is not the concern. We should just use our common sense and not go overboard.

Exactly. The concern is that there are several members posting multiple ads almost every day --

Don't quit... just temper your posts or combine several finds into one thread. Most here like like the ads, but dislike when the front page is wallpapered with them. It shouldn't be too hard to continue to enjoy yourself and not clutter the page for others.

Nobody said that. Reposting of cars of particular interest is encouraged.
Somebody will say, When is a car of "particular interest"? Let common sense prevail I guess.

As I understand it, the problem comes down to a quantity of ads on the front page/recently added. I get it. But y'all seem to like "telling like it is." Did you happen to notice after your initial complaint, after you told it like it is, you've seen fit to add 21 more responses in this thread? I presume those kinda add to the wall paper, too.

For the record, I have one prior response in this thread in which I said I will refrain from posting a large number of ads. Can we now call this done?

It also has to do with pushing actual members' ads down in the cars for sale forum.

Posts in this one thread wont flood the new posts page --- 20 new ads in the cars for sale forum all from craigslist will.

Posting new threads and replying in threads is two different animals, entirely.

I refuse to get scalded on this issue. There's over exuberance of starting new threads and there's participating in discussions

PLUS..
There's replies in this thread that show an entire misreading of the opening post and its point.

I think there will be no misunderstanding of it put thusly.

Attention: Re-posters of car sale ads that are not your own. Please refrain from flooding the C-Bodies for sale section with multiple ads as they overwhelm the "new discussions" page. Thank you.

Note the "please" and "thank you."
I think a little civility and clarity go along way.

In my opinion, motivated buyers who know what they’re looking for won’t mind looking through a few pages of ads to find it.
