Factory 4-Speed-C-Body-Photo-Thread

1965 Sport Fury on ebay for $18.900,- VIN P452253113

Needs paint and needs interior work.
Seller said they got it on trade (so perhaps not savvy on C-bodies?) and they were going to paint it.
Can't imagine what they'd want for it if it were shiny.

Appears to have manual steering, perhaps that's why the PS pump is not hooked up at all.
"It is an aftermarket A/C car, needs finished being hooked up."
No, they installed the compressor. Looks like the factory heater box is missing. 80% more work needed.

Are prices on things really going this high or are sellers just out of touch?

I'm sure in this thread there are at least a handful of 4-speeds with AC.
The triple-black 440-4spd 68 VIP of Mr Puig comes to mind as likely to be the rarest.
A notable number of the 300L 4-speeds likely have AC also.

But the problem of having 21 pages so far is that things are gonna get repeated.

Talk about an incorrect air cleaner!

Sweet car otherwise. Love the silver over blue, even the beach seat is totally fine with me. Have a link to the thread?
Yeah I know Scott, the air cleaner is definitely wrong and at least for a ‘72 and up. But I love the silver with the blue too. The car wasn’t talked about in an actual post, the pictures are just in a post called “random picture thread” over there. Here is the link though, its on page 4415 post 88,299.

Found a video of the car after searching the image. All I needed was 27 seconds to confirm what many of us thought, it's not real. Born a 383-2 auto. I still like it, those colors are great.

So - let's do another 65 Fury, shall we?
This one is only a 383, though.
Aside from some sketch throttle springs, an alum intake/air cleaner and the wrong PS pump, the underhood looks fairly original.
FWIW, the side trim and faded mark of the missing fender emblem suggest the parts car is a '66.
Price is either $4000 or $6000. I would say $3500 should be in the ballpark of closing a deal?
