Plymouth Sport Fury. No rust in floors or trunk floors, apparently the rockers on these cars were galvanized so no rust there. The weird universal joints on driveshaft have been eliminated and no issues there.

I saw an identical car to this one about 25 years ago at the Mopar Nats.
Was for sale - IIRC it had ~30k miles back then, and seller wanted $10k for it.
Although I had my 4-speed Fury back then, I did not know as much about the peculiarities of the 4-speed cars. I wish I could've talked to him more.
I hafta believe this is the same car.

This one has a state-issued VIN.
No fendertag shown but does have a fenderwell-to-firewall brace that some 67-68 4-speed C-bodies have.

Mine:
Owned since 1992. I've done a lot to it, obviously not enough, and not much lately. Major thing I've done is kept it indoors and from deteriorating any further.
383-4 and 3.91 gears - so much fun!
Maybe one day I'll drive it again - need to do it near the end so they see me smile in my casket.

Major project, sold by member here to 2 other members in June 2022, 1 of whom is a solidly-footed in 4-speed knowledge.
Might see this one pop up again in the future in a restored state?
Is original 440hp, 4spd, Dana 53 (all gone).

That black/red 'vert with 383-2 barrel is the first mention I've personally seen of that engine paired with a 4-speed.
Just went to Hemmings to save info on that one, and found this one also.
IMO the underhood condition, incorrect aircleaner (expensive), the front seat upholstery being not-quite-correct, and the traction bars make the top-dollar asking price a bit of a stretch.
But at least we can see it's authentic. via the FT.

1965 Plymouth Sport Fury 426 Wedge 4 Speed Car
1965 Plymouth Sport Fury Factory 426 wedge 4 speed car. very rare car around 500 made. the car looks a lot better in person always a local car with documented 54,000 original miles. runs very strong and has very nice original interior. will come with the stock steel wheels not the cragar mag wheels, clear title in my name.

And interestingly, the beige 65 SF with the copcaps and the red 426 car above show a 'controversy' I've discussed with Tom Denkler (@tdenkler) in years past - what determines whether a car gets the ribbed or the woodgrain console top?

Here's another one - turned out to be 'only' a 383 car, but was a legit 4-speed..
Alas, when pics were finally seen it seemed pretty rough vs original anticipations.
The VIN tag was not on the car, but supposed the seller had it, and the orig window sticker.
Surprisingly, nobody mentioned that removing a VIN from a 65 is a very intentional act - the tag is spotwelded to the doorjamb.
Don't know whether the guy bought it or not, the asking price was never provided by the member that was looking to buy it.

Agree, I think the 65 Fury (all models) with 383 is the most common of the cars I've seen. (I've been monitoring 4-spd C sightings for 15+ years)
And that somewhat makes sense - it was the lowest-price carline, and presumably somebody wanting a 4-speed wanted to go fast, and go-fast guys usually aren't the wealthy guys. (obviously, that's a probability, not the absolute)
