Their be only one Mario and that be He. Chrysler 300 party in St. Charles that weekend. Just by being there for that show with the Batwagon I waz telling the president of the 300 Club to stuff it in hiz Pantyhose and the message waz past beautifully. I let my membership laps the following May after almost 30 yearz because of that twit and still have many friendz I truly miss there.

Just checking this post to see how many members we're up to, and saw that there's a conflict with the date and/or some are willing to change the date.
I don't care if we change the date, but we may not be able to get a date that works well for all FCBO members wanting to meet up at Volo, especially for those that will be traveling any amount of distance.
The further we push back the date, we run a higher risk of getting into bad weather.
As mentioned above I don't care, I'm good either day (21st or 28th). I think we can all agree on which one works best.
With that said lets commit to one of these 2 days and by responding back with your choice.

My preference is the 21st. Should be able to attend for either date. Inclement weather is the major factor for me to attend.

I'm good with either date. The only weather condition that would bother me is snow. The salt happy IDiOT crews always get carried away early in the season. Snow in October is a very rare occurrence.

I am good with either date, but after this week it has to be set in stone as I am bringing my grand kids with.

I agree the date needs to be set in stone.
To be fair and unbiased, lets decide by the coin toss on Monday night football between Washington Redskins at Kansas City Chiefs..."Heads" will be the 21st, "Tails" will be the 28th.
Whatever the outcome, I hope to meet a lot of you guys there.

Anyone have other suggestions before the coin toss tomorrow?

For me either looks good....
However, it needs to be "set in stone" pretty soon....

Last year someone tried to put together a meet/greet in the area and it fizzled out...
Soooo,, sixpkrt ,, its yer show,, make it happen.....
Make a program and those who can make it will and those who can't,,,,
well,, sucks to be them... :)

do it to it. if it's the 21st, I understand. dont hold out because of my (ahem) poor planning.

I spoke with Volo Auto Museum today, and confirmed we will have separate parking for our cars. They did advise if we are expecting a decent turnout to arrive early to rope off the area we intend to use.
Attached is the flyer I created (don't laugh) for our event.
Let's hope we have nice weather for this event.

Well that look like $hit. If someone can PM me and email I will send the flyer to you to repost. I can't do it from my computer for some reason.

Just mapquested it says it 17 hour drive one way from where I am in Vermont, don't think I can make it , I looked at their website looks like a great place, and they sell cars too!

There's a lot to do and see at Volo, not to mention getting together with FCBO members.
The location is in NE Illinois, so the drive even if coming from Indiana or Wisconsin shouldn't take too long to get there. But Vermont, that's a hike.
You can always start your own event in your area, just sayin.

Holly crap!!
On a Saturday at 9:30 **AM**...
yikes...!
Guess I'll just haffa git up early.... *sigh*
:)

Oh.. And a big thanks to sixpkrt for putting this together.... :thankyou:
