Here are a few pictures of a 1969 4dr in M9 Deep Plum. They are the best I found so far that show the color pretty good.

It was introduced as one of two exclusive colors for 1969 but was available in 1970 also.

Are you sure about the color? Looks more like R6 Crimson to me?!

I just looked at R6 on my 1970 Chrysler chart to be sure and it definitely wasn't R6.

Pretty close to a Black Cherry, one of my most favorite automotive colors in the worked. Had a Harley I painted that color.
