Finding a one owner, 50 year old car is quite rare all by itself, especially such a special ride as your Sport Fury GT.
The previous owner knew he had something special just as you do now.

Other then one spot on the drivers seat & arm rest pads, the interior overall is in pretty nice shape.... even if its green lol. Will eventually send out the dash pad to be recovered and definitely some new carpet. But thankfully the door panels were never butchered for speakers.
I might be able to help with a radio if needed. I also have an NOS right quarter panel for a 4 door if needed to repair the lower quarter panel.
The original exhaust tip hangers are missing so put those on your shopping list. As I recall, a friend of mine made them for his GT. You may want to join the S/23 & GT group on Facebook. My friend Joe has posted a lot of photos etc. there on his restoration of the blue '70 GT that I believe he bought from Wyatt.
I am not sure what you mean by having the dash "recovered" but you might want to consider having it remolded instead using your original core. ABC Moparts does that at significantly less expense and they look a lot better than ones recovered by Just Dashes for example:

Bob Baker currently shows that pad to be "out of stock" so you might want to check with him to get some idea of wait time. I have heard that Just Dashes currently has a very long wait time for getting one recovered and the cost is significantly above $1000 last time I took notice.

I know you are looking for original exhaust tips, I looked on Feebay and came up with nothing. I did however find this from accurate exhaust, however it is also about $436 and they say it is for a 300 Hurst but not sure if these would work? Figured I would throw it out there to you, who knows maybe someone will have a genuine original pair at Carlisle this year.....

Not seeing things. Yes, a manual driver's side mirror. Note that there is no mirror control on the interior door panel. It's crazy how some cars were optioned and that in '70 a top of the line Fury did not come with a remote driver's side mirror.

That's pretty cool, just like some GT's didn't come with a clock either.
And some '70 GT's came with drum brakes.
And manual brakes at that lol. But that is what the owner wanted new. At least he bought a Sure-Grip!
Replacement mirror was the 1st part I bought for the car. Supposedly NOS but has some shelf wear. Not 100% perfect but fits the look of the car which is what I was going for.

I do have a source for one of the exhaust tip hangers but will have to find another. Worst case, Ill buy some NOS Challenger tips & see if Accurate will sell just the pipe extensions for them.

Congratulations! That is a beautiful car. The best part is it is a one owner car and you have the window sticker and the pictures to boot. Best of Luck!
Congrats on the acquisition. Having been a former owner of a unmolested 70 Sports fury GT all the hard to find parts are still there. the door panels can be saved by removing carefully the vinyl from the melamine backing boards and replacing them w/ new. Arm rests and bases can be found on the Van's Auto web sight. ABC Moparts can help you w/ your dash board restoration. A complete console in good condition is a rare find. PM me if you need help.
Life works in mysterious ways. Just a month before the GT came up for sale I was stripping another F8 green / green interior / black top 2dr '70 Fury III that I stumbled upon in a U-Pull yard. Low option 318/auto car. As crusty as it was I got some decent doors, trunk lid, hood, bunch of interior pieces, bunch of oem hardware & even a nice tail light lense. I didn't have a car for the parts at the time but I'm of the opinion of grab stuff while its available lol.
Im honestly glad this car does not have factory AC. Too much clutter under the hood for my taste. I've always been a windows down kind of guy. The car still retains its original 22" non AC radiator and even the hoses. 1st thing is go through the cooling system with new hoses and have the radiator sent out to be checked/cleaned or recored. The son of the original owner told me the only time he can ever recall the car overheating was on that trip up Pikes Peak lol. Ill probably install a OEM fan shroud even if its not original just to be safe.
Somewhere along the line a '71 440/auto carburetor was installed on the car, possible a warranty replacement? Ill run it for now till I can find the proper carb. Then put this on the shelf for my PK41U1 car. The 440 is due for a complete tune up. Nothing I hate more then color wires....
