Chrysler historical offers this service for some early products. I hesitated but then popped for the $45.00 fee and received a copy of the IBM data card for my 61 Fury, as well as a decode sheet and a 61 accessory catalog. I learned some things I didn't know about the car including where it was delivered new.

Ordered one earlier this morning, they emailed and said they should have it ready to go in tomorrow's mail! I may even go for a repro window sticker in the future. I found a pc of paper in the car, it's mostly gone but part of the letterhead is still there, it says Reese Pontiac of Hershey........so my guess is that is where the car was sold new. Seller told me it is a open rear but he doesn't know the ratio - very likely either a 3.08 or 3.23 unless he special ordered something else. This package is a must as the question you always get on this stuff is, "Do you have PHS docs to verify it?" It is easy with the Polara as I have the sheet and sticker, but i am sure the GP is good to go......engine is #'s matching and the trans appears that it has never been out.
I'm hoping for no big surprises.

More good news...forgot to mention that I found all 4 of the factory rallyes in the trunk along with 3 trim rings...
yes, was initially wanting a mint car but I will be happier with 2 that are not mint but still plenty of fun to drive.

I'll have to see if there is a part # on the other ones......i see plenty on ebay but they are 'gm', may not be the correct one even if they fit correctly. There are nos ones floating around as well........but they ain't cheap.

my garage is still way too small......for instance, i had to clean snow off my dd monday, frost today and will have to clean some sort of frzing precip tomorrow........not to mention the 69 GP parts car I found abt 35 miles south of me that I cannot buy because I have no space avail to tear it apart!
