Fuel mileage

What kind of fuel mileage do yall get? I drove 250 miles today. Left my house, rode down I20 to the Columbiana mall and picked up some freinds on the way, dropped them off, goofed off some more, filled up with 15.2 gallons. Which makes for 16.4 mpg! $46.50 to drive 250 miles??? That's awesome! What are yall getting?

(PS I floored it a few times in the rain and hit 130 MPH out on I20)

On my first long trip with my 67300 I recrded14 5 mpg.it was a lot better than I expected. A 440 with dua quads and 323 rear gears.

Before lots of tuning I got 14.5 on the freeway.

I just did a 250 mile trip. I got 12.9 mpg. A 1970 440 w 670 Holley Street Avenger, Edelbrock CH4B, Edelbrock Performer Plus #2192 cam, TTI 2.5” duals, and 2.76 rear. - The engine tune is way out of whack, so I was surprised it did that good. I drove it into a shop which will tune it up.

Update: my carb had a tune-up, and the 440 got new plugs. Made a 72,5 mile trip at a steady 65 mph. Got 16.2 mpg.
