Fuel pressure too high?

My fuel pressure gauge shoots right up to the max of 15psi when the engine is running.

Is this worrisome? Stock fuel pump

(I was fixing the fuel line, it is leaking on one side, so playing with the fit and tightness to get it right and noticed the pressure)

That’s twice what it needs to be. If that’s a stock pump I’d try a different gauge.

Yes, it's the stock pump. I'll buy another gauge and check, thanks.

They used to sell an engine vacuum gauge that would also do fuel pressure, but never used one for that.
