Done and done. Next weekend is gonna RULE!!!! My favorite thing in the world, starting a chain reaction that explodes repeatedly but (hopefully) destroys nothing. Stay tuned, my friends!
It's close to 1000 miles to Chicago, I got NO gas, it's sunny and 75 degrees out and I broke my sunglasses. Sip it.

That blows. Strange that it didn't before. Something just not tight?
Actually it's the rad. I was noticing that the frame was not tight on the pass side of the radiator .. one of the spot welds must've let go. I think because of that and that it was moved around so much something let go near or at the lower tank. Gonna pull it tomorrow then run it up to the shop Monday for a pressure test. Hopefully it's not a recore cuz that would be a ways out for me financially .. if it's just a fix, i should have her up n running mid next week.I'm betting on a freeze plug. . .

Awesome, man. Thanks for that! I'm not certain it will need a re-core. I never saw any leaks anywhere on the rad when it was running. This one just sorta cropped up after removing it and moving it around the garage for a few months. I ain't no rad guy so who the hell knows, but fingers crossed, its just a repair!sounds about right. I MAY have a 26" rad in my hoard that I'll sell to ya cheap if yours needs a re-core. Ill check tonight and if it's good (which IIRC it is) we can talk.

Hey man, what ya gonna do? In all reality, I didn't just buy her to cruise .. as itchy as I am to do so! In the many years that I owned my 68, I never even realized how much I loved working on that car ... or any other car I owned.I feel yer pain Gavin. You did all this work and poured all this $$$$ into her, and now she shits the bed just as your ready for your first cruise. You will not be defeated!! lol
