Here's me aprox. 1953 or so...
The Woody was my father's and the Kaiser was Papoo's.

I can't nail the year of the Woody. I can't find that front clip anywhere on Google.

And i cant nail the year of the Kaiser, either. A Manhatton as it has the spear at the belt line and the wide lower molding.

1. Me on my Dad's Ariel in 1958. He also had a Triumph Tiger.

2. Me at 18 with my 69 300 Convertible. The car was my pride and joy. This was a show car two tags, and the most loaded one I have ever seen. Someday, good lord willing, I will have another one.

Great thread we have going here!

This is a great thread. Thanks for sharing everybody!!

I don't have any car pics from my folks... I wish I did. My Dad had some great cars.

I do have one of my first car with my sons. 1957 Garton Hot Rod Racer taken about 1989. This is one of my favorite pictures.

My sons have kids of their own now and I still have the car!

I discovered this photo a few years ago. My dad was a senior so this should have been about 1951. I love the look on my aunts face. She is not happy about something.

Here is my chance can someone identify the car? My aunt doesn't remember and I never got the chance to ask my dad.

That's another 41 Oldsmobile as a 4dr., like the woody from Stan's father but a higher trim model. You're a bunch of GM guys :)

I think we need to change Klaus' name to Hawkeye!

Hey, it was the 70's man! :icon_weed: I let only one person ever sit or lay on my car and one time only.

She would have been welcome on my hood too!

Acorn doesn't fall far from the tree...

Yup, So many memories flood back when I drive my old cars...Dad's been gone 20+ years, but taught me everything I know as we wrenched on the family cars.

I remember he flipped over the "new" Chryslers in 74 and we went to the showroom to gawk at them and try to swing a deal to trade his 71 for a 74 Town & Country on the turntable, but inflation sucked then and he couldn't get one until 79. He loved Formals and it stuck with me. His dream car was a 75 Imperial and he finally bought one in his retirement...I still have it, but its a parts car now. After Dad died, Mom couldn't sell it and let it sit in the garage for 17 years.

I've had all of the C bodies over the years: Slabs, Fuseys, Formals, I like them all, but I like Formals the best.

That's a great story.
In 1978 I knew that a full pimp NYB would be my last car. Someday........

Last car is always a station wagon.
