i have 1967 chrysler 300 two door hard top fast back, with 440 eng, it was in storage for the last 20 years , motor runs good, miner rust, glass is good , gas tank removed cleaned and reline, new fuel pump, rebuilt carb, new wheel cyl. will not take much to restore

Because the ad says minor rust .... well, it actually says "Miner rust"

Well, first of all, let me get all the pics out of the way. Then we'll talk all about it.

No. Absolutely not a wasted trip. I want it. The ZZ1 was painted over with black metallic.

I need to find out from Chris if he has a trunk pan and floor pans for this car. Then I'll have a better Idea what I want to do.
Chris??????

WIW? I dunno...
Regardless if it's a $300 car or a $3,000 car, its going to take another $25k minimum so it really is a moot point. The car is unmolested except for the patched pans and it's complete.

I'd definately restore it. Frig it. (if mama lets me...)
Home Equity line of credit.

so it was orig gold, isn't that ZZ1?

I thought from the pics that you'd def be leaving it go.....the rust around the rear window turned me off.

I absolutely love the rear end on these cars, but hate the front end. I'll take the front end of a '70 Polara with that type of rear end (modified slightly to fit the body style, of course).

hmmmm.....maybe i ought to just look for a '67 300 ragtop, like this one:

I like it! She needs some tlc, but come on.. Shes 46 years old. I agree the worst part looks to be the rear window corner. But don't think it would be to hard to repair. How bad are the floor pans?

That is one sexy rear end! Hopefully mama lets you!

The hoses in #1 red box are for the heater. The Hoses in #2 red box are for the heater as well. The #2 red box has the A/C shut off valve behind the firewall. My wagon also has those cool floor/foot vents....works great with the A/C.

I too am a little leary of the rust in, and around, that back window. And it not being a true black car.

Nah, it's a restoration. Like Commando said, it's gonna take some cash & a complete resto so what's the difference?

I always prefer "Pffui" myself.

Nice thing a black interior in a car that needs to be restored is that white upholstery kits, headliners and door panels are the same price as black.

Pfffffttt..
In my hands, the interior would stay black.

Oh hell yes. Get your *** back there & buy that car.
It's an eBay car. The cheapest way to buy it is to let the auction run its course and have it not make its reserve. Then call him up and offer $200 over the high bid.
