Good Day/Bad Day at the 'Ol Dealership

Well let's put it this way....the Dealership could have purchased 30 C bodies with the money they charged us back....at current FCBO Formal prices that is...:(

The Owner is in Vegas at the NFR so beat downs are postponed until next week. Took today off so I can get that thing I promised you handled btw!
I wasn't in a hurry... I hope you at least got to put some ointment on the wounded areas where the Italians took a bite out of you... I hope you recover without too much additional drama.

That's why I subscribe to this support group....always there for you with a kind word...:)

On a serious note.....
If there was $750,000.00 worth of screwups, how could that actually happen?

A Dealer in BC was just charged back all the program money (rebate cash) on 150 cars he reported sold as a demo but never plated them or drove them. He just moved them over to the used car inventory. As he didn't follow the program rules he lost all the program money....all $550000 of it:wideyed:

Another Dealer in the 90's was charged back $1.2M for exporting cars to the USA. FCA holds out millions in program money as a carrot then beats you with the auditor stick and takes it back...it's great for them but it can bankrupt a Dealer....GM has no sales/service audit BTW AFAIK

I'm glad your sense of humor wasn't part of the loss...

Audits are part of the business every 2-3 years. The actual amount for paperwork being wrong was only $22000 the rest came from nullifying the sale of a vehicle thus disqualifying it as a counter towards our monthly target which in turn dropped us below target which resulted in the bonus money of $48000 being charged back....so that one screwup cost $48k. I'll fight that one alright..

So does this mean the FCBO hellkitty giveaway you folks were sponsoring is cancelled?

As punishment, his dealship has been declared the Official Dart & 200 Closeout distribution center... :p

Actually makes me think that was the intention all along regarding the bonus

When my boss audits me, she just yells at me for buying extra chrome that I did not need. No chargebacks.......yet.
:poke:

Cold day at the ol Dealership today but the deliveries heated things up a bit....
Pair of taillights for the '66 Canadian 300 and some light reading. Picked the tail lights up for $100 good score I think..
