But I love these big cars since I was a kid and my dad brought home our new April Green Metallic 1971 300, 440 TNT. It was eventually the first car I drove, first one I hit 100 in as well. I have a big soft spot for fusies and love the formals too.

Currently I have a 70 Duster H-Code running a modded 360, 4 speed. Love it but can see a day when I am older and want something a lot more comfortable and easier to drive. I'm thinking one day I'll be getting a 77 New Yorker Brougham so I figured I'd join up here to learn more. We just bought a house with a garage more than adequate for a C-Body so the dream lives!!

Welcome to the site Steve. When you have time please share some pics of the Duster and upload an avatar and your location.

Dave and I are socializing this new norm

Welcome man, i like your choice in Cbodies, one of the best i will say, don't hesitate to jump right in and make yourself at home, Theres lots of people here who will help you too when it comes to picking a car to buy eventually.

Welcome AprilGreen. Yep, sounds like you're ready to upgrade from the Tonka toys into a real car. One of each is ideal.

Welcome aboard. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here and a good place to look for your car. I know I have seen several cars I would have bought if I was looking. 1 is keeping me busy right now.

Thanks for the kind words guys. New garage is definitely big enough for an A and a C but the wallet isn't right now. Now if I hit the lottery.... It would be nice to have the choice. My Duster when I am feeling rowdy, NYB for those calmer days. Yeah, I could dig it.

Welcome aboard from a fellow Canuk. We have a Tuesday cruise night here in Grimsby. It will start up again in May. This car started showing up last year.

Oh man,I love that car. Dad's was a 4 door HT with a white vinyl top and interior but that one is as close as I've seen to his in over 25 years. Thanks for posting the picture.
If I ever found a 71 300 like my Dad's I'd pick it up in a heart beat if I could afford it. He loved that car - he always said it was the best he ever owned.
